I may be born near, nearer or nearest Tagaytay City but this place would always be the most comfortable and relaxing site I could ever be. The cooling breeze from the month of September until January relieves yearn for calming after soul searching under the heat of the sun from the neighboring cities and provinces. A windy summer treat from the months of March up to May, soothingly answers my crave with the best place to stay when Mr. Sun shines brighter every hour of my every minute.
A Php 75.00 ride from Calamba City and a Php 90.00 trip from Pasig City, all less than a hundred if I am not mistaken. Tagaytay is affordable, amenable, open to all and receptive to the needs of every visitors and/or tourists. Every establishment is just a jeep ride from your recent destinations to another trip, of yours. If you are a Starbucks lover, you’ll surely enjoy going up an down a the biggest branch they have in the Philippines.
It’s always been fun remembering the happiest moments I have with Tagaytay; every time we’ll be going out for family dates and bonding, when grocery pulps out of stock and the cooling breeze of Christmas season is in the air. Going in this place to stay will make anyone of us alive and living in the safest, most comfortable, and grandest way of life.
Tagaytay City is probably the cleanest tourist destination in the country. In line with this, the City government has already banned the use of non-biodegradable plastic bags on dry goods, the use of styropor or styrofoam, and regulating the use of plastics on wet goods. So, don’t expect to get plastic straws and cutlery with the combo meal you just bought for your quick lunch. Do bring an eco-friendly bag with you when you do your pasalubong shopping!
Heads up to all the Korean lovers out there, ‘Anyeong’, they love to migrate at the Heart of South Luzon. You’ll be amazed with the Filipino owned Korean groceries and my well-loved Korean Salon who took care of my fairest hair. Want to learn English and teach Koreans? Visit and partake with the Filipino educators of Korean Nationals. At the same time, you’ll surely learn as well how to speak and their tradition side by side.
Thank you Tagaytay for every warm welcome, for the mouthwatering Bulalo’s, and for the breathtaking scene of Taal Volcano; Your beauty will always be missed.
